Engineering Assistance

If you need assistance in designing your plastic part, Midland can help.

While we don't offer full-blown product design services, our staff can offer technical services to help you determine the optimal method for producing your part and establish realistic tolerances for producing your part in plastic.

Our CAD Department has the ability to read most industry standard files such as DXF, DWG, IGES, SAT and ParaSolids.

If necessary, we can produce basic drawings or manipulate your files for print clarification. Depending on complexity and time, these services may have charges associated with them.

When sending a dimensioned drawing, please send it as a PDF file. Drawings sent in this format is much easier to read for dimensioning purposes.

In the event that you require complete design assistance, let us know and we can recommend some design firms to assist you in creating your optimal part design.
